Sorry, what you wear does matter!

[Scroll down for the English version]
Conteaza si fac diferenta, in ordine aleatorie, urmatoarele:
1. Decenta.

So what I was basically saying in this article is that what you wear does matter. And it doesn’t really matter the brand you’re wearing, or the price or the trend you choose to follow.
What really matter are the following:
1. The decency. It’s important to cover yourself, to hide what you don’t need to show and to cover your flows, because we all have them.
What’s also important is to respect the dress code for the event you dress yourself for. It’s always important the place where you go, it’s important to wear clothes that fit you and to be able to walk on the heals you choose to wear.
2. Don’t try to much! If you have talent, inspiration, courage or the right attitude, you can do it! If not, keep it simple! For a casual look you can’t go wrong by wearing a white t-shirt, a pair of straight, blue jeans, some white sneakers and a big smile on your face. On the other way, if you need to look fabulous for a night out, you could wear some trousers or a skirt that suits you well, a silk or a sequin body top, some sandals with a velvet blazer and just one bracelet.
Don’t try to be a punker or a rocker if that’s not your lifestyle. The authenticity and the style always go beyond the clothes.
3. The fabric makes all the difference. When you choose the pieces of clothing you intend to wear, the time and the place when they should be worn, are influenced by the texture of their fabric and not by the design. If the fabric is a precious one, you would be able to wear that piece of clothing in a very pretencious context. For exemple if we’re talking about some silk trousers, even if they look like some sport pants, they can be matched with a pair of high heels and worn for a night out at the theatre. Same thing goes if we’re talking about a long, fancy dress, made of coton, like the one a t-shirt is usually made of, and which would make it less precious because of the common fabric and much more suitable for a day time party in a summer garden.
Being elegant, looking precious and expensive, has always something to do with the quality of the fabric. That’s what makes the difference between the designer’s clothes and the mass market producers. But this doesn’t mean you can’t look like a million bucks without spending a lot. There are always brands like H&M which have several collections during the year, like Studio, Conscious Exclusive, the Premium products or the anual collaborations with famous artists or designers, which bring in pieces of clothing made of silk, cashmere, wool and which through their texture and timeless design can really be an investment for several upcoming seasons. Same thing goes with brands like Zara, C&A or Mango. Another way of buying cheep designer pieces are the shopping online websites and the outlets that have very good deals for so many fabulous items.
4. Details make all the difference! There are so many white t-shirts, blue jeans and white sneakers. And even if I told u that if u mix them together you’ll have that perfect casual outfit, well.. things are not so simple! Details make all the difference, a label placed in the right place, the sewing, the cut, the length of a sleeve, can really make all the difference. It is said that finding the perfect white t-shirt it’s the hardest thing. I’m still looking for it. 🙂 Matching your outfit with some pearls, adding the right socks, wearing some sheer, silk tights, can be the small detail that changes your life, at least till the next day 🙂
5. The attitude. It’s a lot easier to hate then to love. We live in this perpetual hate. The malice, same as the torn tights, it’s noticeable. We forgot how to let everyone else do what they want, we forgot to not hate what we don’t like. It’s ok to just not like it, it’s ok to have an opinion, an advice or a remark, and to keep it for ourselves. It’s ok to make mistakes, it’s ok to start over, it’s ok to not know what we want to do with our life, it’s ok to not know how to dress, it’s ok to panic when we can’t find a solution. And it’s ok to not have someone gloating about it when it happens. It’s ok to Like everything we like on Facebook, it’s ok to smile, to say ‘hello’ to each other, it’s ok to help one another, it’s ok to appreciate the other’s effort, it’s ok to share one another. We are all above each other through something. The one you’re facing will always be better then you at something, as you’ll always be better then him at something else. The superior attitude you’re expressing it’s just a parameter one can use to measure education. And the education, same as the tolerance, are not things you’re born with, but they make all the difference!
