People are often very lazy in thinking. There are lot of things we take for granted. Because is easy. Someone thought that before us. And when that someone is an entire generation, well, that must be a true thing for sure. ”If you wash your hair on Monday you’ll have a bad week.” We are a world of believers. We enjoy the comfort of quoting without the discomfort of thinking. ”I have a friend who has a friend that has a friend who did that”. The power of the precedent. If someone made it, I’ll be there soon. Well, is not really like that. The myths we believe in doesn’t make things more real and the hard work of others doesn’t relieve us of sweating our ass off. I believe in the power of autosuggestion and in the learning through imitation as long as we know what’s fake when we want to think is real. There is always a question mark involved in the interpretation of a myth. And when the purpose is having an answer to all the questions concerning your own life, who has time to believe in myths like the worm in tequila?
