I Fake IT

”Fake it’till you make it!”

According to Wikipedia “Fake it ’til you make it” (also called “act as if”) is a common catchphrase that means to imitate confidence so that as the confidence produces success, it will generate real confidence.

I fake it: when I don’t want to show I’m the only one tired, when I wear my loose t-shirt after a big meal, when I say I like to go in a club after a week of work, when I check my weight only in the morning, when I’m scared and I have to be strong, when I use Photoshop, when I google what I said I knew.

I fake it constantly, out of respect, prudence, insecurity or consideration. Is a form of protection, pride or need for achievement. What’s real is the reason and the result materialized in something positive. And beyond the ”fake it” situation is always the realness of the feelings and actions of the one faking it. So, did you fake it today? :)

I was wearing:

Zara shirt

Maison Scotch jeans and necklace

Selena Gomez by Adidas sneakers
